‘Glory Days’ Are Back Again

I was glad to learn that there will be a third installment of Glory Days: A Bruce Springsteen Symposium. The event, best described as an academic conference on Springsteen’s life and work, will return to Monmouth University next year from September 14 to 16.

I had the honor of presenting a paper at Glory Days in 2009, and I hope to take part in next year’s symposium.

Next week, on the auspicious sounding date of 9-9-09, the release of The Beatles: Rock Band music video game will dominate the conversation in the music world.

Two weeks later, another significant event will take place in the music industry, this one involving a well known entertainer from the Garden State:

On September 23, Bruce Springsteen will turn 60.
